Terms of Service

These Terms of Service also serve as the Soulmap end user license terms for the website, map interface, account features, shared presets, drawings, and custom marker tools.

Enforcement notice: Soulmap has zero tolerance for racist, sexist, hateful, harassing, obscene, or infringing shared content. Violating presets may be deleted and the responsible account may be banned.

1. Acceptance of terms

By using Soulmap, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. License to use Soulmap

Soulmap grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to use the service for lawful personal and community use. This license does not transfer ownership of Soulmap or any service materials to you.

3. Your shared content

You are responsible for the presets, drawings, custom markers, descriptions, links, and media references you create or share.
You must have the rights or permission necessary to upload, link, or share the content you publish through Soulmap.
When you share a preset, you understand that anyone with the link may be able to view it.

4. Prohibited content and conduct

Racist, sexist, hateful, harassing, threatening, or otherwise abusive content.
Obscene, sexually exploitative, violent-extremist, or otherwise unlawful material.
Copyrighted or trademarked material you do not have the right to use, or content that violates another person's privacy or publicity rights.
Malicious links, impersonation, fraud, spam, or attempts to disrupt or scrape the service in bad faith.

5. Reporting and takedown requests

Reports, moderation complaints, and copyright takedown requests should be sent through the official Discord server using modmail. Soulmap may remove, restrict, or preserve content as needed to review and resolve the issue.

6. Enforcement and termination

Soulmap may remove presets, revoke access to shared features, suspend accounts, or permanently ban users who violate these terms. Enforcement may occur without prior notice when needed to protect users, moderators, or rights holders.

7. Service availability and disclaimer

Soulmap is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features may change, be limited, or be removed at any time. Soulmap does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or permanent storage of user content.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, Soulmap and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, your shared content, or your inability to use the service.

9. Changes to these terms

Soulmap may revise these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use after updates may require renewed acceptance in the app.
